Social Impact On Child Development

It is well-known that there is always a specific time for everything, which is the appropriate time. It means that anything that happens before the appropriate time is considered Premature.
Today’s research has shown us that any baby born before the completion of the period required for birth will face various problems related to the heart, brain, metabolism, and other immune system issues. It is because there is always a proper period for each thing to happen for proper functioning.
For example, food not appropriately cooked for the required period will not provide the proper taste and nutrition. As a result, the person who has consumed that specific food will either fall ill or not get the required energy from that particular food.
It highlights the importance of timing in ensuring that everything functions correctly and efficiently.

The Importance of Age and Experience in Proper Growth

We consider growth as an enhancement either in size or worth. The human mind always thinks the teacher is more experienced than themselves. It is because experience is often linked with age.

For example, a teacher who has been teaching for the last ten years may need to be made aware of the consequences students are facing as a teacher who has been teaching for the previous twenty-five years. It is because there is always an age or experience factor linked with growth, which makes growth proper.

It is important to keep this in mind, as proper growth is essential for the development and success of an individual or organization. It is also vital that the more experience an individual has, the more knowledge is present, which allows them to make better decisions and offer better guidance.

The difference between Abstract Thinking and Sensory Evaluation in Decision Making

Abstract thinking is based on understanding the reasons and needs for actions, while sensory evaluation depends on what appears good to the senses. Children tend to use sensory evaluation for most of their actions.

For example, the pleasant smell of hot rice may entice children to quickly grab and eat it, whereas an adult is aware that rice should be cooled enough to be eaten. The adult will use abstract thinking to make the right decision at the right time. It highlights the difference between how children and adults process information and make decisions, with adults relying more on abstract thinking to absorb sensory information and make the right choices.

The Impact of Inappropriate Social Interactions on Childhood Development

The primary issue behind today’s humans’ robotic or artificial behaviour is because of the early development of their minds. A common observation is that innocence is absent in today’s children.

One myth for this is children’s exposure to inappropriate company. Our child’s company is not the reason; the reason is that our children are not grown up with their age fellows. Children today often view adults as role models and try to adopt their habits, resulting in the development of an “Adult Child” who lacks a child’s innocence and natural curiosity.

It highlights the importance of providing children with appropriate social interactions and environments during their formative years to foster healthy development.

Adult Child

The “Adult Child” phenomenon refers to an individual exposed to the adult company at a young age and, as a result, exhibits more mature behaviour than peers. While it may seem impressive when a child speaks or behaves like an adult, it is a cause for concern. It is because young individuals who exhibit advanced behaviour lack the life experience and perspective that is typically associated with age.

Teenage Professors

It is important to note that a “teacher” is often associated with experience and age. A teacher who has been working in their field for a significant amount of time has a certain level of knowledge and understanding they can impart to their students.

However, seeing young or teenage professors on social media platforms like YouTube raises questions about their credibility and ability to educate their students effectively. This phenomenon is similar to the early development of the mind, where children are exposed to adult environments and technology at a young age, resulting in a robotic mindset and behaviour that is not age-appropriate.

A PhD student is almost 26 to 30 years. Suppose a fourteen to fifteen years old professor is his teacher.

How will he develop a sense of seniority?

If we study the biography of such young professors, we will discover that they were victims of the early growth of the mind at some early stages.

Primary Reasons Behind Early Development of Minds

  •  Usually, the main reason behind this early development is that we offer our children an inappropriate environment or company. Our child spends most of his time listening to adults. Naturally, a child adopts the things which he sees.
  • The other reason behind this is the availability of modern technology for our children at early stages. It means a child of today’s world will not be able to speak well, but he will be competent enough to use mobile well. This early or unnecessary availability of modern technology results in a robotic mindset.

How to Cope with Early Development Issues?

  • • Allow your child to develop naturally by giving them the appropriate time to learn and understand new concepts and ideas. Avoid overwhelming them with information that is not relevant to their current stage of development. Gradually expose them to the world around them rather than overwhelming them with too much too soon. It will promote natural growth and development essential for a positive and well-rounded individual.
  • • Avoid exposing your child to adult-oriented discussions, such as discussing a move or starting a new business, as these topics are not relevant to them. Instead, provide a suitable environment for your child’s growth and development.
  • • Children need to be surrounded by their peers. It allows them to understand and relate to one another, fostering a sense of camaraderie and mutual understanding rather than competition and self-interest.
  • Following these solutions allows children to develop naturally without being rushed or overwhelmed by adult concepts. It will lead to a more positive and well-rounded addition to society, as opposed to a robotic or materialistic mindset.
